About Us
Chat2Find was founded in 2023 by Avishka Sumanadeera, a young entrepreneur and a developer born in Sri Lanka and educated in Australia. Connect on LinkedIn.
Our journey in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology began in late 2017 with the introduction of “Shashka,” Sri Lanka’s first-ever chatbot in 2018. This was followed by the development of a specialized Taxi Bot named ‘TukBoy’ in 2019, designed to cater to the taxi industry in Sri Lanka and Nepal.
Initially, we utilized the Watson Assistant, which is IBM Watson’s conversational IT platform. However, due to the rapid advancement of AI, this platform became obsolete in 2022.
Chat2Find is supported by Frontier Capital Partners Ltd, a renowned boutique investment firm based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. With their financial backing, we are able to provide unrestricted access to information for any search query. Our goal is to give our customers a competitive edge and the advantage of accessing information 24/7 from anywhere in the world, without any biases or restrictions.
